Marks/Inscriptions: G. 190 Gillman, George Faber (1847 -1919) was the eldest son of Georg e Gillman banker of England. He lived at Napier for a time. He came to Ch.Ch and got the position of pay master at Addington workshops which he held for 30 years. The Gillman lived at Wgtn for a time and a son G.W. and their only dau Theo dora were born there mare. 1.9.71 by Rev. Croasdale Bowen + Rev. Chas Turrell at St Peers Ricc.
