Brief Description
One landscape black and white photograph of Lyttelton showing the damage caused by a fire. The image is taken looking towards the harbour, in the centre of the photograph a single chimney can be seen, this chimney is standing alone in an empty lot and is blackened and damaged at the bottom. More chimneys are visible in the background and smoke or steam can be seen indicating that this image was possibly taken the day after the fire.
