Description
One landscape black and white photograph that is number six of a panorama of Christchurch, 19 - 23 May 1860 taken from a tower of Government Buildings. Photograph depicts a river in the foreground bordered by flax, on the river is a wooden boat or long dinghy. On the edge of the river is what looks to be a sawmill with piles of timber seasoning outside, there is also a yard for livestock and a pond. In the distance sporadically positioned houses are visible.
