Marks/Inscriptions: P. 162 Paterson Andrew ( 1871) landed at Nelson in the a early '40's and farmed there. In 160 he settled in Temuka and took upo a run in the Mackenzie Country. He was appointed an Additional stock inspector for S. ants. P.B. Boulton was senior inspector . He acted as merino judge at the first Timaru Sh ow , Oct. . He was chair man Arowhenua na Sch. Comm Nov. 66 . Chudleigh said in his diary + came back to Mt Peel with one Mr Pater son, a sab scab inspector. we were near ly frozen before ie got home. I had to do the hon ours of the house .
