Marks/Inscriptions: F. 69 Parish, John (18 22. -94) was a brother of William Parish, who had a large family and came out in the C es4, sigley with William and his family He was then 38. He had two Co draught stallions in the Stallion parade of , Tom king and his son Young Ploughman . He bought a farm at Halswell called Green Park of 166 ac. with an other block of 8 1 ac. In Ap. 84 there was a sale of a property named Lune hurst in Waikari Valley near Waikari . It was put up in sections and he bought 7 2 ac w ith improvements ; also 4o ac. with a leasehold attached of 431 ac. The whole cost him £7108. as a consequence he offered for sale his Green Park Farms, but they were not sold. He offered them Again June 9o. He finally sold his G seen Park Fann to George Swain of Greenpark at £16-10 per ac. He bought a further 288 ac of Line hurst mar. '93 at 5 gus per ac. Thes was pout of Buchanan + Wades land. marr.
