He found that he liked the Country and sent for his wif e and farm ly who came out by the Waimate which arrived Jan 75. He worked in M ont real St. fa 7 years and them bought the business f Plumridge and the premises of Alexander Fraser in ss of P Montreal St. in 180. It was carried on later by his Son John He bought a farm al Ladbrooks He d . 4.6.29 ag 87 wife Marjory d. 1.12.29 ag bur. Addn Cem. eldest son John b. '6 at Dundee , helped his father in his h simes and the carried on his own till ; then with G.H Woods grain merchant. He served on exec. of Canty Master Bakers Assoc. ; Pres. 1907- 1 ; en thurs as tic bowler 3sus 3 daus. David of Wood Bros. Millers Henry director Canty Seed Co : 5' Cartons.
