Marks/Inscriptions: M. r24 Munro , Donald (184s. was born at Alessio , Ross shire, Se ot. and came to Port Chalmers in the Jura in '61. He was emplo d by Donald ploy ed t Reid at the Taieri at Various jobs from cowboy to storekeeper . He later bought a team of hoses and started carting stores between Dunedin, Dunstan and Queenstown . After 3 years at that he farmed for 10 years at Hampden and c ont acted on the Kartigi section of the railway for years . He settled in Kings down u 77 and bought a farm,"Damon" 200 ac. . He usually kept a Stalled on there. He was a member of the local sch. Comm. marr. '69 a dau of Capt. Ross of Ross shire.
