Marks/Inscriptions: H. 204 Harrington, William (1829-1908). There were two Wm. Haring tons both of whose wies were named Marianne and both are buried in Barbadoes St. Cem. one was a builder and one was a where ought. Wm. Harrington marred 1.1.50 ut Twist ad, , Marianne Sell She was born in Suffolk. They celebrated their golden wedding in N.Z. It appears that this Win Harrington was the one that came out in the samarang in Aug. 52. He appears in the pass. list as W.H. wheel wright 22 and his ,Iv wife Marianne 24 and their son Henry 1. Also on the pass. list as Joseph Snell, ag. lab. 17 - prabal a brother of Ms Harrington. Also on the pass. list James Frost, 3 ag. lab + his wife Hannah. She was a Harrington. Wm. Harrington of Montreal st. builder J.(. '58 was one of those who undertook to collect subscriptions towards enlarging the temporary church in Ch.Ch. , therefore he was a member of the C. of E. Torlesse mentions in his Letter jornal hat Frost and Harrington ar to build the school at Rangiora also mentioned in vestry Book , St. Peters Kang cora. He was a member of he first comm. of the Ch.Ch Mechanics Inst. He was on the comm formed to organise the first Canty. Rifle Corps. He collected subs towards building an Bridge the Montreal Stout was the successful Tendere for the bridge ati £300 pass . list.
