Marks/Inscriptions: H. 199. Harrington, Denis ( was born in Fermn oy, Co Cork and was a cooper. He got married a second time and in a fit of pique he took the Queens shilling and for 20 years was away in different parts of the world on military service . He then returned to Ireland and married Bridget ary Gann ey The real name f the Gai e4s was Buckley but one of the Buckley was so fond of making money that he was given the name "Garner" and the name stuck. He and his wife and girls came out in the (Steadfast according to fam inf. but pass. list Ref. Lib. says D. Harrington , 48, of Co Cork with his wife Bridget. 28 and daus . Margt. 1, and Mary inf. arrived by the Cameo. 11.7.59. He worked for the Lylt. Times while it was in Lylt. and when it moved to Ch.Ch. he moved over w ith it. He wes blind from cataract in his old age. family. (according to fam. inf. ) Ellen Kate Maggie ( Mrs Haughey) Jun Emmitt wife Bridget d. 7.7.77 at Chester St. Denis Frances Annie (Mrs Wm.
