Marks/Inscriptions: H1. 166 Hargreaves , William Hartley( 1851- was born in Auck. and educ. at the C. of E. Grammar Sch. , Panel and at St. Johns Coll. Tamaki . He entered the head office of the B.N.Z in Auck in 67 and rose to the position of teller. He was ther trans fereday to Thames as accountant and after 5 years there went to Waipukurau as manager. After g moths there he was sent by the Bank to look after the affairs of E.W. Mills Co in Wgtn. He was later manager at Akaroa and then Temuka. when he left Akaroa in '83 e was given a farewell dinner, W. B. Toss will proposing his heath. He efta Temuka Oct 87 and went back to Akaroa. oct. 87. marr. '81 a dau. of F.H. Drawer of Waipukurau. He was sec. Temuka Cricket Club Sept. 85 son Vivian Educ. X's Coll 1900-01 farmer , Wither Run Blenheim . He d. July 5 ag 66 Cyclop N.Z. ii LT. 25.9.85 : X's Coll Sch.
