Marks/Inscriptions: E 382 a brother of Arthur Eaton, Richard Augustus (1828-1913) came out with his parents and brothers in the Oriental to Wgtn He served in the Maori wars and arrived in Lylt. in He worked in the Tunnel and afterwards on the Eastern breakwater under Martin dale and Hawkins. Later he was employed by the Lylt. B0r. Coun. He applied to be put on the electoral Mold for Lylt. as a householder Ap.64. One of his brothers was killed in the Maor i dears and his brother Arthur q.v. served in them. He d. 28.6.1913 ag. 85 at Dampier Bay.
