Marks/Inscriptions: C. 513. Connon , father of Helen Connon , came from Aust. with his family and went to Otago in the ild rush times. From there he moved to the West Coast and became a builder . Helen was a pupil of Robert Stout in Dunedin for thee years. When the family was on the west Coast she attended Archd. Harpers and James Scott's schools for boys. When she came to ChCh with her parents the was about 16. she had a sister, Maria and another Mabel. see Professor MacMillan Brown . whom she married. F. 28.7.1956 Dong.
