He came out he the Strath allan which was the first ship to land passengers direct at T inaru . His wifes name was eddy ; 8h e was sox old years older than him. A boy Walter , ged 3 came ont with them ; their infant son Arthur died on the voyage. William lived at Papanui and worked in ths buh . Later all three brothers worked ct the Papanui brick Yard.
