He iw bracketed in the pass list with Wm . Berry 47, Oxford shire , dairy mar, Sarah his wife, 48 , Fred, ; Emma, 8 These were probably his parents. He went first of all to the Peninsular sar mills and then came to Ch Ch. He was in time to be taken on by the new paper, The Press, and printed the second rsone . 1.6.61. He was on the staff for there months. He turned of thee hundred copies an hour. on of his sons was ono the the Press staff in 1911 apparently his wife Hannah died . He appears as Wm Thos. Berry punter , marr . 1.11.64 Eliza Cockburn at St. Michaels. Rev. Jacobs.
