Marks/Inscriptions: B. 378 3 Bennetts, Hugh (18 29 -1909) was born in Cornwall and had been a local preacher in the Primitive Methodist Church at Bunk worth Eng. He and his wif e and family came out in the William Miles in '60. He stood unsuccess fully for one of the Ch Ch seats in the Prov. Coun. in May 62. He was a telltale and wes very long winded From his remarks at nomination he appeared to be rather cranky. The crowd laughed at him and finally told him to si t down He was one of the most active on the Total Abstinence Soc. and spoke at great length. In '62 he had the Star Temp grande Hole . H.
