Marks/Inscriptions: B. 130. Barker , Enoch (1830-92) served his apprentice ship as a gardener a Chats or th , the principle seat of the Duke of Devonshire. He then went overseas s and was employed at the NewYork Gardens and later al the Sydney 8Gardens . It is further said the t h and his family cross ed to N.Z. in the Zealandia (Capt. Foster ) and that Mrs Foster dred on the vey9ge and the Bankers Cooked after the Foster family. In contradiston to this story there is no information I that Capt. Fosters wife ever dred on a voyage.
