He later joined the Police Force and was then transferred to the Gaol service. in which he served for 19 years . He became chief warder and had to relie owin 1o a nervous break down . He then lived a retired life at Dampier s Bay marr. Ann Amelia Smith He d. at bocas Rd. 13.12.12 aged 79 left A widow widow Ann Amelia d. 11.7.25 aged 3 sons 91 3 daus. his dau. Katherine , 25, b.
