He was in business as a young man but in '84 bought a farm of 360 ac. at Irwell . In '586 he started a Small flock of Shropshire s and used John Gr g8's rams . He won thre Champing shuto at the Ellesmere Show and another time with Eight entries won g on sgt first pez s. He was a member of hunting and coms inf clubs.
