Description
Extreme Cold Weather (ECW) quilted jacket with detachable hood made from grey windproof fabric with brown down-proof lining. Elastic at cuffs and waist with centre front zip with padded under placket for warmth. Jacket is padded with down. Makers label on rear neck edge of jacket "Fairydown manufactured by Arthur Ellis & Co Ltd Dunedin". Makers tags also have writing in blue pen "Neil Hamilton ChCh New Zealand". Front pockets with over flap. Pocket opening leads to unlined grey windproof fabric hanging pocket on inside of jacket. Detachable hood made from same fabric as jacket and padded with down attaches to jacket neck with domes which are reinforced with green webbing tape.
