Researcher comments/remarks
This photograph shows St Paul's Presbyterian church that was located on the corner of Cashel Street and Madras Street in central Christchurch. Built in 1877, it was the second Presbyterian church established in Christchurch. The church was severely damaged during the 2010-2011 Canterbury earthquakes, especially 22 February 2011 when it was largely destroyed by the force of the earthquake.
