One black and white photograph of a Lovell-Smith family group preparing to leave for a picnic in a wagonette. The horse and wagonette are to the right of the photo; a man stands beside the wagonette reading. Several people including Macie (at left of people in wagonette) and one or two children are already in the wagonette while five adults, including Roy and Jennie Lovell-Smith, (third and fourth from the left) stand in the road. A black dog looks about to jump into the wagonette.
