Description
A knife and fork issued to the 85th Light Infantry in the early 19C. The fork and knife blade are metal and the handle is bone. The handle of each is inscribed, "L.3878" and "1615".
The pair was probably initially catalogued in the War Relics collection, see alternative number, E2668.
The knife and fork are in reasonable condition. The metal is rusted and the bone handles are split and yellowed.
