"Myers Famous Lock Stitch Sewing Awl", made by C.A. Myers Co., sole owners and manufacturers, 6324 Woodlawn Avenue, Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A. Comes in brown illustrated box 129 x 38 x 38 mm with description and light green instruction sheet. Awl has red-stained wooden handle, spool with black waxed thread and holder for needles (did come with 2 needles - missing). "Pat'd 1.28.05".
