Medal: French Legion of Honour medal awarded to Tryggve Gran

Description
One round French Legion medal of the Chevalier (knight) class with red ribbon in presentation box awarded to Tryggve Gran. The front of the medal has the words Republique Francaise 1870 while the back has Honneur Et Patrie. The lid of the box has the words Legion D'Honneur Chevalier. This class of medal was awarded for 20 years of public service or 25 years of professional activity with "eminent merits". Non-French recipients had either served France or its ideals.
