Description
One stoneware pot in a vase form with a flaring cylindrical base 86mm and a central discoid section. The waisted neck has two decorative lugs (S-shape in double rolled strips), and a flared rim (93diam.mm) with a bevelled edge. The body is white clay with an air-brush applied flat colour (hyacinth pink-blue pale blue) with painted motifs (white/brown sperm-like squiggles and black/blue rectangles with three dots in blue section) on the upper side of the central discoid section. The base has a painted mark, "DW".
The original sales label reads: "E. 'Sad Song Fallout' $90. David Walker, Akaroa."
