This object was purchased from Whole House Reuse. Whole House Reuse was a project facilitated by Rekindle to encourage artists, craftspeople and the public to reuse and recycle the building materials from a house at 19 Admirals Way, New Brighton. The house was earthquake damaged and due to be demolished by digger but instead itt was taken apart piece by piece and offered to the public to make functional artworks.

The resulting works were exhibited at Canterbury Museum, 5 June to 23 August 2015.: Whole House Reuse (Rekindle): Christchurch: 2015
