Two New Zealand postage stamps affixed to an envelope: one penny (karaka) and one shilling three pence (trout). Postmarked 'NELSON REGISTERED 30AP63 530PM', with a registered mail 'R No.1983 NELSON (NN)' stamp affixed. The air mail envelope is addressed to Mr P J Furey, Christchurch.
