First Day Cover: New Zealand Pictorial Stamps 1935

Official first day cover of New Zealand Pictorial Stamps, 1935, printed with a photograph of 'The Southern Alps from Lake Matheson'. Two New Zealand Postage and Revenue stamps are affixed to the envelope: two shillings titled 'Captain Cook at Poverty Bay October 8th 1769' and three shillings. Postmarked 'WELLINGTON N.Z. C.I. 1MY35.830AM' on the front of the envelope and 'TAITAPU' on the reverse of the envelope. The envelope is sealed with a pamphlet enclosed.
