Tea Cup and Lid: Ching Dynasty, Tao Kwang
Description
One tea cup and one lid from the Ching Dynasty, Tao-Kwang Period 1821-1851; brown base colour with enamel design depicting insects and flora in assorted colours; the rim has a copper colour; reign mark is red and located in the foot ring of the cup and the handle ring of the lid; the base, foot ring and handle ring are all white; lid fits inside the cup up to just below the cup rim.
