Thermohydrograph: US Army

Description
Signal Corps U.S. Army Thermograph ML-77 Serial no 723 order no 11 767-WF43. Made by Friez Instrument Division, Bendix Aviation Corporation, U.S. Grey metal cover with latch and two windows in the side. It has "NAVAL WEATHER SERVICE" written in faded red ink on the top. Has carry handle on top and flow meter jutting out from the right hand side. On the reverse of the case is written -80 + 50°F: -20 + 110°F. Mechanism is removable and has daily and weekly measurement units. Mechanism and wind up key are located inside removable core.
