Carton of boxes of water resistant matches manufactured by the Diamond Match Company New York, USA. The carton held 12 boxes originally of which 4 remain. Each individual box has around 350 matches which are especially designed to work in damp climates. The matches are designed to work even after submersion for up to 4 hours in water. Instructions on the top of each individual box and a striker surface on each side. On the other side is a warning regarding malaria. The cardboard carton has text on both sides re the contents.
