Description
Sword stick made from a natural branch of (?)cherry wood. Brass bottom ferrule, crude top ferrule of steel. The bottom has been bored out to take a blade, the tang of which has been driven into the handle and wedged. No locking device. The bottom half of the stick is cracked and damaged mainly due to the poor fit of the blade. The blade has been blued and the upper half decorated in a leaf design showing traces of gilding.
