Description
Decorative earthenware jug by Shona Clarkson. Entitled "Harvest Jug". Bulbous jug with mottled yellow background effect, large curled handle with finger stop and tapered neck with exaggerated curled lip. Lip and handle edge bordered with green, as is finger stop. Pouring spout and underside of lip has numberous pink, relief spots. Neck decoration includes these spots sitting parallel to green ones. This broken in half by sequential design of green diamonds. Face (below pourer) decorated with fanned, alternating straight and wavy lines. Similar design occurs on either side of centre, at sides.
