Provenance details
Photographs were probably taken by Alison MacGibbon who was one of the four women on the trip. MacGibbon probably gave the photographs to Astley or compiled them in an album for her. See Album 367 (MacGibbon Album), which holds most of the same photographs. Annotations with the photographs are not in MacGibbon's hand.: Mrs Alison MacGibbon
