One framed oil painting showing a countryside scene. In the foreground are depicted bushes and shrubs, with larger trees in the background. In the middle ground can be seen a fence with gate, a lighter-coloured pathway and a person walking the path. No formal title is known but the donor referred to the painting as "A Country Scene Near Christchurch".
