Blouse in pink drip dry terylene. Quilted top and nylon lace trim. D166 c. 1958 (MRM).

Neckline: Soft V shape at front, rounded at back. Attached at edge is a 1.5cm wide floral patterned nylon lace, creme in colour. The inside edge is finished with a self fabric bias strip.

Bodice Style: Loose, semi fitted.

Sleeve Style: Short sleeve, one piece, inset. Turned back cuff, 3.2cm with topstitched edge - pink cotton thread.

Waistline: Natural, semi fitted.

Seams & Edges: French seamed.

Buttons: There are four buttons closing the front. The middle two are the same. Rounded plastic with a 'pearl' finish 1.4cm diameter. The top button has a similar shape 1.2cm diameter but is opaque. The bottom button is flat with two holes for stitching it on (the top three have button stands) and is 1.2cm diameter and cream in colour.

Buttonholes: Vertical, machine sewn with pale pink cotton thread, 1.5cm long.
