Pencil line winter print (vonnel) in purple/green on black. Had patent narrow belt. D175 1958 (MRM).
Neckline: Rounded, front self faced, back, faced with black sateen faced lining fabric.
Collar: No collar.
Bodice Style: Semi fitted/loose.
Sleeve Style: One piece, inset sleeve, gathered (tucked) at the top of the sleeve head. 3/4 length elbow dart. Hem turned under twice 3.5cm and machine neatened, hand sewn in place.
Waistline: Natural, semi fitted.
Skirt Shape: Straight.
Seams: Machine sewn (very poor stitch tension), black, purple and blue cotton thread used in various places.
Edges: Raw or machine neatened around armholes and waist.
Buttons: Shiny, black, flat, round buttons. Metal hoop on back for stand. 3cm diameter.
Buttonholes: Horizontal, bound (with some fabric as back neck facing), 3.3cm.
