Description
NECKLINE AND COLLAR:

NECKLINE: Rounded, front + back; self faced; C.B. opening, closed by a chrome metal hook & pale blue cotton blanket stitch eye; ~ 3cm wide band of topstitching (pale blue cotton thread) [17 rows] around neckline.

COLLAR: No collar.

BODICE STYLE: Semi-fitted.

SLEEVE STYLE: No sleeve; self faced A/H slightly inset into bodice.

WAISTLINE: Natural semi-fitted; at the side seams are pale blue cotton thread belt loops constructed by plaiting; 4cm long. Belt: 84 x 2cm; face is covered in self fabric; back is a starched cotton (or linen); one row of topstitching the entire way round; four metal holes (covered in pale blue paint; one self fabric belt loop at buckle end; buckle-rectangle with rounded edges 5.5 x 3.3cm covered in self fabric.

SKIRT SHAPE: Straight from hips.

COMMENTS: SEAMS: Machine sewn, pale blue cotton thread. EDGES: Overlocked; pale blue cotton thread. WAISTLINE: Has been reinforced with a piece of white cotton tape sewn in. RIBBONS: Sewn & domed to both shoulder areas to keep bra straps from showing. WAISTLINE ZIP: Addition - nylon zip; poorly sewn in.
