NECKLINE AND COLLAR:

NECKLINE: Rounded at the back; wide "V" shape at front, sits wide on shoulders.

COLLAR: Shawl collar, has a contrasting trim 3.5cm wide. Entire depth of collar at C.B. 21cm; over shoulder 20.5cm. R.H.S. of collar overlaps L.H.S. at front. White daisy patterned machine lace sewn onto collar near edge [1.8cm wide].

BODICE STYLE: Semi-fitted.

SLEEVE STYLE: No sleeve, self faced.

WAISTLINE: Natural ( - though back seems to be slightly lifted - probably not by design!) Self fabric belt loops sewn at both side seams - 3cm deep. Soft self fabric belt 22 x 85cm; navy topstitching around edge; three navy metal holes; one self fabric belt loop at buckle end; small "D" shaped fabric covered buckle.

SKIRT SHAPE: Flared.

COMMENTS: RESTITCHING: Evident at the waist - different coloured navy sewing thread used in place. SEAMS: Machine sewn - navy cotton thread. EDGES: Overlocked - navy cotton thread. ARMHOLE: Has an off-white a/h shield sewn onto the bottom area.
