Researcher comments/remarks
The March for Love took place eight days after the 15 March 2019 terrorist attacks. The march was organised by St Andrew's College students Ella Clearwater, Manaia Butler and Marshall Setu. It began with prayers and messages in Hagley Park before the crowd marched down Rolleston Avenue to the Christchurch Botanic Gardens, where this banner was laid.
