Description
A small press-moulded earthenware figurine of a horned sheep standing on a hillock. Under glaze and over-glaze decoration. Sheep is cream with russet poll and spots on body, back-curling horns, long tail. Stands, facing left on raised plinth 310mm high, painted to represent a grassy hillock; supports in form of grass and tree stump under body and at back; moulded tufts of grass on plinth. Inside of base glazed white with blue shading. No marks.
