Description
Commemorative trowel in presentation box. Has security mark. 305 mm long (blade 175 mm long). Rounded ivory handle screws on. Triangular silver blade with rounded shoulders; embossed and engraved haft. Face of blade engraved with stylized leaves and text: "Presented to Colonel The Hon. Sir R. Heaton Rhodes K.B.E. D.M.P. To Commemorate the Laying of the Foundation Stone of BANDSMEN MEMORIAL CHRISTCHURCH. Nov. 8th 1925. Luttrell Bros.
