Description
Pair of pink flattened ovoid vases, with long flared necks and wide circular bases. Pink exterior ground with enamelled and gilt decoration: band of gold with raised white dots on rim and base; suspended gilt and white dots swags beneath rim band. Each vase has hand-painted branches with entwined white and blue convolvulus and brightly coloured butterflies. Foliage extends around reverse side in simple form. Decoration layout is mirrored but not identical.
