Description
One stoneware teapot and lid. Funnel form tapering from 185mm diameter base to 83mm diameter opening. Highset funnel spout with coiled carrying lug positioned at base of spout. Rope-patterned strap handle with indented disc for thumb near opening. Dull turquoise blue speckled glaze with decorative band of 8 milled rows near base and cut curves near top. Small decorated discs at base of carrying lug. Cream glazed interior with pierces strainer for spout. Lid has steam vent and coiled or rope-pattern strap handle with indented discs at base; cream glazed interior. No potter's mark.
