Description
A Royal Doulton Dickensware plate with a hand-painted scene of a street with a Dickens character in the foreground. The edge of the plate is dark green. The stamp on the base reads, "Copyright. Made in England. Royal Doulton Dickensware [Dickens's Portrait]". The glazing has numerous cracks, otherwise, the plate is in good condition. The back is stamped, "Trotty Veck" (?character) and is numbered, D2973.
