Marks/Inscriptions: The Coryphoene (Coryphoene Hippicus) "Dolphin" of Sailors caught by a line from the bows of the Charlotte Jane Oct 10/50. A female very small. Dimension: fr head to root of the tail 18 inches length of tail 5 inches width of body 4 1/2 inches colour bluish above + silvery white beneath Dorsal fin bright deep blue In the stomach were the remains of two fish nearly digested - some shrimps + several small shellfish. the bodies of which were purplish blue shells transparent
