Description
Model of a bristleworm (polychaete) in two parts. First part is one brown glass model of segmented bristle worm with hundreds of bristle like tentacles running along the side. Features two pairs of tentacles at the head. Second part is one clear glass model of the magnified head of a bristle worm. Features a red interior stem, three pairs of tentacles on each of the three segments including two larger tentacles foremost. Mounted on a green wire. Made by Leopold and Rudolf Blaschka between 1863 and 1882.
