Description
Two glass models of a salp made by Leopold and Rudolf Blaschka between 1863 and 1882. Each zooid is clear with a line of blue glass inside and an internal metal wire. The solitary zooid (Proles solitara) is smooth whereas the colonial zooid (Proles gregata) has two horns and bumpy surface.
