One portrait black and white photographic reproduction of a pen and ink cartoon depicting a women looking at legs disappearing into rows of doors on the deck of a ship. A bottle and clothes remain on the deck. Titled: Alarming effect of a lady's appearance on the deck before 8am. An annotation on the page to the left of the photo reads: Sketches by Reginald Fairlie in "The Serious Syrian" a comic paper which I helped to edit on board the Union S S Syria on the voyage between England and Capetown.
