Brief Description
One landscape black and white photograph that is number six of a panorama of Christchurch, 19 - 23 May 1860 taken from a tower of Government Buildings. Image shows a series of streets intersecting in the foreground and houses can be seen in the background. Inscribed to the right of the photograph is 'Colombo Street, Pound, Victoria Street', it is possible that the street running on an upwards angle over a bridge from the right of the image is Colombo Street. 'Pound' is inscribed next to corner of fencing visible on the very right of the image, Victoria Street is possibly the main street that runs horizontally through the centre of the image over the central bridge.
